Description

SOWERBY BRIDGE HAUGH END LANE SE 0423 and SE 0523 (north side) 12/77 - Haugh End Farmhouse GV II Ancillary buildings to Haugh End House, now house, garage and store. C18. Coursed squared stone, stone slate roof. 2 storeys with basement to left end, 11 lst-floor windows. Raised quoins, part obscured. Basement has doorway on left and inserted garage door. Plinth band. Ground floor: inserted carriage doorway on right; to its left a blocked doorway; C20 glazed door with bipartite lintel to house; double door further left. 2-light flat-faced mullion windows throughout. Shaped gutter brackets. Shaped kneelers, ashlar coping. 3 corniced stacks, to left end and to centre of ridge.
