Description

This is an outhouse located approximately 3 metres to the west of The Breck, dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared stone and has a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and consists of a single cell. It features quoins and a blocked doorway with a bonded surround, flanked by narrow windows, and a 1-over-3-light window above, all with plain stone surrounds. There is a corniced stack at the left end. On the right return, there is a later 6-panel door set in a plain stone surround. Inside, there is a narrow fireplace, a stone shelf, and the floor has been removed.
