Description
The Union Cross Inn is a building that likely dates from the 17th century, with additions from the 18th century or early 19th century at the rear. The front was re-faced in the 20th century, which is not of interest. The older part of the building is constructed of stone, which is partly painted. It has three storeys and features eaves leading to a reslated roof. Each upper storey has a six-light mullioned window above the rear carriage arch. The rear wing has an altered ground storey and paired sash windows above, which are blocked on the top storey. The roof is now partly covered with asbestos sheet. The return wing is similar in style, and there is a carriage arch underneath.
