Description
Pasture Farmhouse and the attached barn, dated and initialled "J.B. 1773", are constructed from rubble brought to course and feature a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high with a gable entry. The north-east front of the house includes a 4-light flat-faced mullioned window with a 3-light window above it, and a 3-light window with a 4-light window above it. The barn has a semi-circular arched cart entry with an impost block and a dropped keystone that bears the date. To the left of the barn entry, there is a mistal doorway with composite jambs and a chamfered surround. Inside the house, the floors are missing, but it retains spine beams supported by large corbels over the fireplace, which has monolithic jambs and a lintel with a chamfered shelf. There is a single stack at the gable.
