Description
Weasel Hall Cottage is a house, originally built as two separate dwellings, constructed around 1840. It was built by the Manchester and Leeds Railway Company to replace the earlier Weasel Hall, which was demolished during the railway's construction. The building is of hammer-dressed stone with a stone slate roof. It is two storeys in height and comprises three sections, each featuring two-light, flat-faced mullioned windows with sash glazing to both floors. A moulded eaves band and gutter brackets are present. The roof is hipped and includes two large chimney stacks with coupled octagonal flues.
