Description

This milepost is located approximately 90 meters southwest of Elland Lock, beside the canal towing path. Made of stone, it likely dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century. The design features a headstone shape with a curved top and chamfered edges. The face of the milepost is inscribed with the words "From FALL ING 18 Miles."
