Description

This milepost is located beside the canal towpath, approximately 20 meters east of Crowther Bridge. It is made of stone and likely dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century. The design features a headstone shape with a curved top and chamfered edges. The face of the milepost is inscribed with the text "From FALL ING 17 Miles."
