Description
This is a two-bay, single-aisled barn dating to the late 17th century, situated fronting the main road. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone with large quoins, and has a coped gable with a moulded kneeler and a stone slate roof. The gable is notably decorative, featuring nine square vents arranged at an angle to form a large diamond pattern. A cavetto moulded string course runs around the building. The barn is a rare survival in its setting, with the adjacent farmhouse now demolished.
