Description
This is a pair of cottages located on Lower Edge Road in Brighouse. They were built in 1813. The cottages are constructed from hammer-dressed stone, with a stone slate roof. Each cottage has a doorway with monolithic jambs, and a three-light flat-faced mullioned window above the doorway. The mullions have been removed from the window of number 107. A plaque above the door of number 109 reads “No 1 J. Rangley 1813”. Stone gutter brackets are present, and a central stack rises from the ridge of the roof.
