Description

This is a row of three cottages located on the west side of New Hey Road, Brighouse, dating to the late 18th century. They are built of hammer-dressed stone with a stone slate roof. Each cottage is two storeys high. Each has a doorway with monolithic jambs, and a three-light mullioned window above the door, with overlapping sills and a similar window above. Cottages 20 and 22 also have a two-light mullioned window over the door, and stone gutter brackets. Cottage 24 features a single-light window above the door. There are three stacks on the ridge of the roof.
