Description

The lodge at the junction of Field Lane is a former lodge to Rastrick House, built in the early 19th century. It is constructed from dressed stone and features a slate roof. The single-storey front has three bays, with a weathered plinth and a moulded eaves cornice topped by a blocking course. The central bay contains a doorway, while the outer bays have sash windows with projecting sills. The roof is hipped and includes a central chimney stack. At the rear and sides, there are two storeys with a single window in the return walls.
