Description

Nos. 19 and 21 on Top O'th Hill Road are a pair of cottages built in the early 18th century. They are constructed from hammer-dressed stone and feature a stone slate roof. The cottages are two storeys high. The south front includes an original gabled porch with a doorway that has a segmental arched lintel. Each floor has two bays of windows with chamfered surrounds, although they lack mullions. There is a break in the stonework, and next to the doorway is a 4-light window that is missing two mullions, with monolithic jambs. The cottages have two stacks at the ridge.
