Description
Hill Top The Bank is a pair of cottages, originally part of a row of three, dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. The cottages are constructed from coursed limestone rubble and feature a thatched roof, with brick stacks at the ends and along the ridge. The building is two stories high and has a six-window range. It likely had a two-unit plan originally. There is a blocked door to the left of the center, a plank door to the left, and a three-light casement window on the ground floor far left. The remaining windows consist of two-light casements on both the ground and first floors, except for a one-light casement located to the left of the ground floor far right window. All windows have wooden lintels, and the first-floor windows are set in eyebrow dormers. The interior has not been inspected.
