Description
The White Hart Public House is a public house dating from the late 17th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed from coursed squared limestone and features a thatched roof, along with brick stacks at the ends and ridge. The building is two stories tall and has a four-window range, following a three-unit plan. There is a 20th-century door located to the left of the center, which has a wooden lintel and a hood above it. To the far left on the ground floor, there is a four-light 20th-century casement window with a rendered lintel, while to the right, there is a three-light casement window with wooden lintels. The first floor has two-light casement windows with shutters. Additionally, there are one-storey-and-attic extensions at either end of the building. Inside, the pub features chamfered spine beams. The building is included for its group value.
