Description

The bridge over the River Calder, built in 1816, is constructed of dressed stone. It features a single span segmental arch made with rusticated voussoirs, each displaying a rough raised surface with indecipherable symbols or letters. The date is inscribed on the keystone. The bridge has a projecting string and a parapet with cappings.
