Description

Crow Nest Bridge is a bridge over the River Calder, dated 1818 as noted on the keystone. It is constructed of dressed stone and features two segmental arches with a bull-nosed cutwater. Originally, the bridge did not have a parapet, which was added in the mid-20th century and includes angled cappings.
