Description

The bridge over the River Calder, built in 1812, is constructed from sandstone ashlar. It features a single elliptical arch made with rock-faced voussoirs. Below the solid parapet, there is a band, and the coping is also present. On the east side of the northeast end pier, the year '1812' is inscribed. Part of this bridge is located in Catterall civil parish.
