Description
This barn, located approximately 18 metres west of Great House and Great House Cottage, is likely from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with a stone slate roof and consists of four bays. The building features quoins and has a double cart door set back in a quoined round archway on the right side, along with a chamfered quoined doorway in the right return. To the right of the cart entry, there is a chamfered two-light window next to an inserted window. On the left side of the cart entry, there are two chamfered rectangular vents and two inserted windows, with a chamfered quoined mistal doorway at the far left.
At the rear, there is an opposing cart entry, with a chamfered quoined mistal doorway on the right end and an inserted doorway and a four-light flat-faced mullion window on the left. The left return includes a later window on the right, a chamfered window, and vents. Inside, the barn features queen post roof trusses.
