Canal warehouse fronts Rochdale Canal. Late C18. Watershot masonry, ashlar quoins and band, slate roof. 2½ storeys. Canal front is symmetrical and has semi-circular arched entry to wet-dock. 3 bays of windows with plain stone surrounds to 1st and attic floor. Venetian window to apex. Right hand return wall has 5 bays of similar windows to 1st floor and segmental arched doorway to 4th bay. Left hand return wall has similar arrangement but is mutilated by insertion of large metal door. Coped gables with slight kneelers.
