Description
Number 3 Northgate is a house dating from the early 18th century, with some alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed from thin-coursed hammer-dressed stone and features a stone slate roof. The building is two stories high and has a two-room plan. On the ground floor, there is a four-light double chamfered mullioned window, a doorway with a large lintel, and a single sash window with four panes. The first floor has a recessed mullioned window with square reveals containing three lights, along with one sash window and another window that has been significantly altered. This house was formerly part of a rear wing to the 17th-century Holywell Green farm.
