Description
This barn, located 20 meters to the east of Great Burlees, was built in 1859. It features pitch-faced stone and a stone slate roof. The barn has a segmental arched cart entry with re-used stone above it, which may have come from an earlier barn on the same site, inscribed with "MMC 1691" (for William and Mary Cockcroft). Above the entry is a Venetian window with a keystone and the date. On either side of the barn are mistal doorways and a single light window. The interior consists of three bays with a queen-post roof. This barn is listed for its group value only.
