Description

Nos 7 and 9 on St James Street are a pair of stone houses dating from the early 19th century. They are two storeys tall and each has three windows. The houses feature paired giant Doric pilasters on either side, a cornice, and a parapet above a slated roof. The doorways are pilastered and have carved caps. Together with Nos 1 to 9 (odd), they form a cohesive group.
