Description
Ashgrove and the attached barn are a house and barn built in the early 19th century. They are constructed of hammer-dressed stone, with some parts rendered, and feature a stone slate roof. The building has a double-pile design and stands two storeys tall. Each of the two cells has a doorway and a three-light flat-faced mullioned window on both floors. There is a segmental arched cart entry with a single light above it. To the right, at the lower end, is a mistal doorway with monolithic jambs. A single dressed ashlar stack is located at the ridge.
