Description

The bridge over the Rochdale Canal at Burnt Acres Wood Bottom dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features a single span horse-shoe elliptical arch made with rusticated voussoirs. The bridge has a band and parapet with buttressed corners, topped with large flagstone copings.
