Description
Prospect View consists of two houses built in the early 19th century. They are constructed from hammer-dressed stone and feature a stone slate roof with coped gables and kneelers. The houses have a double pile plan under one roof, with the gable end facing the road. The front elevation includes two 3-light flat faced mullioned windows on the ground floor and matching windows on the first floor. The gable end has a centrally placed doorway with one-piece jambs and head, a large sash window above it, and a 2-light mullioned attic window at the top. The gable end is flanked by two chimney stacks. The other elevation faces the churchyard and features a doorway with single stone jambs and head, flanked by two 4-light flat faced mullioned windows, with similar windows above, all having the central mullion removed. This building is included for its group value.
