Description
The reservoir located to the east of the Carding and Combing Shed at Oats Royd Mill is a mill reservoir, likely built around 1885 for John Murgatroyd and Sons. It features coursed squared stone lining with a flat coping, forming a rectangular shape. There is a pipe on the western side that carries water into the reservoir, and a sluice on the eastern side that would have directed water into the vats below. This structure is included for its group value.
