Corner site with Harrison Road. Built 1837 as a Congregational Chapel. Simple classical design. 2 storeys, stone "brick" with ashlar dressings. Due to slope the front is raised on a basement plinth with a broad flight of steps. Sill bands and shall moulded eaves cornice to hipped slate roof. Above centre of entrance front the ashlar chimney stack is treated as a crest with anthemion panelled flanking volutes and anthemion austeria at bases of 3 pots; the stack proper has date plaque. 4 bays to from 1st floor has round headed windows. Ground floor has plain outer windows but central Venetian windows with keystones. panelled architrave with roundel cornere blocks - stain glass roundels of Lamb etc. This window is flanked by doorways in panelled architrave surrounds with corner blocks and thin projecting cornices over. The return elevation to Harrison Road is of 5 bays, fenestration round headed on 1st floor and with plain lintel on gound floor - sill bands and eaves cornice returned.
