Description

6 and 8 Harrison Road are a pair of early to mid 19th century stone houses. They stand three storeys tall with a basement, each featuring two windows. The entrance to No 8 is highlighted by an Ionic portico with patterned glass. Both houses have a small main cornice and blocking, and there are area railings with spear finials. These buildings, along with Nos 1 to 7 (odd), Nos 11 and 11a Carlton Congregational Church, Nos 13 and 15, and Nos 2 to 8 (even), as well as Harrison House Branch Library, create an interesting group from the early to mid 19th century.
