Description

No 2 Harrison Road is a mid-19th century classical stone house. It stands three storeys high and features three windows. The ground storey has round-arched openings with a cornice supported by carved brackets at the entrance. There is also a bracketed main cornice. This building is part of an interesting group that includes Nos 1 to 7 (odd), Nos 11 and 11a Carlton Congregational Church, Nos 13 and 15, Nos 2 to 8 (even), and Harrison House Branch Library, all dating from the early to mid-19th century.
