Description

Nos 5 and 7 on Harrison Road are a pair of plain stone houses built in the early to mid 19th century. They are three storeys tall and each has two windows. The houses feature pilastered and corniced doorways with decorative door panels, and a main cornice with blocking. This pair, along with Nos 1 to 7 (odd), Nos 11 and 11a Carlton Congregational Church, Nos 13 and 15, and Nos 2 to 8 (even), as well as Harrison House Branch Library, contribute to an interesting group of early to mid 19th century architecture.
