Description

Cambridge House is a two-storey villa built around 1850, constructed from sandstone ashlar. The front features three bays with quoin pilasters and a very shallow central break. It has a plinth, a plat band, and a sill band, along with a deep stepped frieze and long modillion brackets supporting the flat eaves of a hipped slate roof. The first floor has plain revealed sash windows, while the ground floor showcases pilastered canted bay windows. The entrance is marked by a deep Doric pier doorway with a dentil cornice above the entablature, leading to a short flight of steps.
