Description
No. 115 on Little Horton Lane is a villa built around 1840-1850. It is two storeys high and constructed from dressed sandstone that resembles brick, with ashlar dressings. The building features a three-bay elevation, broad quoin pilasters, and a shallow central break that is in the same plane as the rest of the façade. It has a frieze, a moulded cornice, and a blocking cornice that is raised over the centre. There is a plinth and a first-floor plat band. The hipped slate roof has corniced chimneys on either side. The plain revealed sash windows, which have been altered to French casements in the later 19th century, are fitted with lintels. The entrance features a Doric column doorway with a full entablature.
