Description

New Royd Gate Farmhouse and its integral barn date from around 1800 and are constructed of sandstone "brick" beneath a stone slate roof. The building features saddlestones with kneelers and coursed chimneys. There are three-light square mullion windows set in squared surrounds, along with a squared jamb doorway. At the rear, there is an outshut, and the barn has a segmental archway.
