Description

Nos 36, 38, and 40 on Alderscholes Lane are a row of cottages dating from around 1830. They are two storeys tall and constructed of sandstone "bricks" with a stone slate roof. The cottages feature two-light square mullioned windows and a single light above plain doorways. This row of cottages is situated at a higher level than the road.
