Description

This is a row of approximately twenty cottages, dating to around 1800 to 1820. The cottages are constructed of sandstone "bricks" and have stone slate roofs, with decorative "dentil" brackets to the eaves. Chimneys are of dressed stone, corniced at the top. The windows are predominantly two-light or single-light, with stone frames and squared mullions; some ground-floor mullions have been removed. Doorways are simply constructed of squared stone.
