Description

Nos 7 and 9 Lane End are a pair of cottages dating from approximately 1800. They are constructed of sandstone that appears like brick, with stone slate roofs and corniced chimneys. Each cottage has three-light square mullion windows set in squared surrounds on both floors. Squared jamb doorways mark the ends of the frontages. No. 7 has a slightly later extension to the west, which also incorporates a three-light square mullion window. The cottages are included on the list for their group value.
