Description

Nos 172 and 174 Hill Top Road are an early 19th-century pair of cottages built from sandstone that resembles brick. They feature a stone slate roof with kneelers above the bracketed eaves. A first-floor sill band runs across the front. No 174 retains its original two-light square mullion windows, and both cottages have squared jamb doors. These buildings are included for their group value.
