Description

Long Row is a long row of cottages dating from around 1820 to 1830, constructed from sandstone that resembles brick. The roofs are covered in stone slate and feature spaced dentil brackets along the eaves. A horizontal band runs along the sills of the first-floor windows. The windows are single-light or two-light square mullion windows, set in squared surrounds. The doorways have squared jambs. The cottages are listed for their group value as an unaltered sequence which contributes significantly to the appearance of the street.
