Description

Nos 29 and 31 on Hill Top Road are early 19th century cottages that were originally built as "back to back" homes. They are constructed from sandstone "brick" and feature stone slate roofs. Each cottage has two-light square mullion windows. There is a small outbuilding associated with No 29. The doorway of No 31 has a hood with decorative brackets and a doorhead. These cottages are included in the listing for their group value.
