Description

Moor Royd Gate Farmhouse and its integral barn date from the late 17th century. The building is two-storeys high and constructed of coursed gritstone, with the farmhouse rendered and the barn featuring flush quoins. It has a stone slate roof. The farmhouse includes three three-light windows, which were originally six-light, made with chamfered mullions, and an eight-light central window. There are drip moulds above the ground floor windows and a four-centred arched doorway with a squared head.
