Description
Westwood is a house built around 1850-1860, likely as a rebuild of an earlier structure. It is two storeys high and constructed from sandstone "brick" with ashlar dressings. The building features rusticated quoins, a moulded eaves cornice, and a stone slate roof with flanking chimneys. The front is symmetrical with three bays, each containing revealed sash windows. There is a pilastered doorway topped with an entablature, and it includes a decorated cast iron rainwater head and downpipe. The property is noted for its group value.
