Description

Green Head House and Barn date to 1825, with a later extension circa 1840. The house is a two-storey farmhouse constructed of sandstone "brick". It has a two-bay front, featuring a first-floor sill band. The roof is covered in stone slates, with saddlestones and prominent kneelers. Corniced chimneys are present. Windows have been reglazed and are set within squared stone surrounds. A squared jamb doorway leads into the house. To the right is a lower sandstone "brick" barn, also with a stone slate roof. This barn features four lunette openings with keystones, and a segmental voussoir archway. A two-light square mullion window and a single-light window are found over an enclosed wood porch of a set-back extension to the left-hand side.
