Description
This outbuilding, located approximately 15 meters north-east of Number 3 Cuckoo Nest, is believed to have been a wash-house and dates from the late 17th century. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone with dressed quoins and features a stone slate roof. The building is single storey and has a doorway in the gable that includes a quoined lintel and composite jambs. At the apex of the coped gables, there is an arched open window, and the right-hand side has a 2-light double-chamfered window that lacks a mullion. The outbuilding is included for its group value.
