Description

Nos 84 to 90 on Town Gate in Wyke are two pairs of sandstone cottages built around 1800 to 1820. These cottages have painted fronts and feature stone slate roofs with corniced chimneys. Each cottage has two windows on both floors, which are two-light square mullioned windows set in squared surrounds. The doorways are also squared jambs. These buildings flank the entrance to Simon Fold.
