  1. Two pairs of circa 1800-20 sandstone "brick" cottages with painted fronts, flanking entrance to Simon Fold. Stone slate roofs with corniced chimneys. Each has 2 windows on both floors, 2 light square mullioned in squared surrounds. Squared jamb doorways.
