Description

Simon Fold comprises a row of four sandstone cottages, built around 1840-1850, which form the north side of a fold yard, with number 1 situated opposite on the south side. The cottages have stone slate roofs and corniced chimneys. Each cottage features a single window, later fitted with 19th-century sash windows with decorative leaded glazing. The doorways have plain 4-panel doors. The buildings are included in the listing due to their group value.
