Description
Dene Farmhouse and the attached barn, located in Dean Hole, date back to the 17th century. The building is constructed of stone and features stone slate roofs. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has three windows on the first floor. There is a central door that is set within a 20th-century porch. Each floor has two four-light windows; the ground-floor mullions are flat-faced while the first-floor mullions are chamfered, although most of the mullions have been removed. Additionally, there is a small inserted window above the porch. The structure includes kneelers and coping, with the barn attached at right angles to the farmhouse.
