Description
Carcase End Farmhouse and its integral barn is a late 18th-century farmhouse built in a long house plan. The structure features sandstone "brick" with flush quoins and a stone slate roof topped with corniced chimneys. It has two two-light square mullion windows, which likely date from the early 19th century and are fitted with small glazing bar sashes. The entrance includes a doorway with squared jambs. The barn, which is under the same roof as the farmhouse, features a semi-circular ashlar voussoir waggon arch.
