Description

The archway located on the road to the west of Number 40 on Westfield Lane in Idle, Bradford, is a 17th-century structure. It features a four-centred arched doorway with chamfered jambs, set within a gritstone wall that has quoins and weathered coping. The squared head of the archway is dated 1690. This archway served as the entrance to the now disused Quaker burial ground.
