Description

The White Bear Public House is a late 18th century or early 19th century building that has undergone some later alterations. It is two storeys high and constructed of irregularly coursed sandstone that resembles brick, topped with a stone slate roof and featuring corniced chimneys. The south front has two light, square mullion windows. The double pile gable end includes late 19th century sash windows and a pilastered doorway with a projecting cornice supported by brackets.
