Description

Gill Beck Bridge is a small, hump-backed bridge likely built in the mid-18th century. It is constructed of dressed sandstone and carries the road at an angle over the Gill Beck. The bridge features a single segmental arch, with the voussoirs set back from the retaining wall. The retaining wall has parapets with coping that rises to create a shallow Tudor-style arch.
